Job description
Job Summary:
The role involves equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper functioning of Volvo, Renault and Shacman Trucks etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic electrical tests from horse to trailer when needed and handle all electrical duties on trucks including small vehicles
Attending to all duties related to shift gear box on vehicles
Attending to all electrical breakdowns within and outside the depot timeously
Overhaul of all electrical components
Servicing and repairing of all electrical units such as starter motors, wiper motors, battery maintenance and services.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE;
Certificate in auto electrical craftsmanship, or pneumatic craftsmanship or auto mechanical craftsmanship
2-3 years, with relevant mechanical experience in a similar role within the transport industry.
Age (minimum / maximum): 28-40.
Should have experience with Volvo, Renault and Shacman trucks
