The Key Purpose of this role is to safely operate and maintain the Brewing plant to produce a consistent product of the right quality/quantity at optimum cost.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

 

Prepare for plant start up.
Start up plant.
Run the plant.
Shut down the plant.
Execute cleaning of plant
Complete all documentation.
Control inputs usage
Ensure plant is in working order.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment.
Measure performance attributes
Record performance attributes
Monitor and evaluate trends.
Assure quality of inputs
Initiate corrective action.
Prepare for maintenance tasks.
Conduct autonomous maintenance tasks.
Conduct breakdown maintenance tasks.
Reduction in time to detect and time to correct defects.
Completed 5 Whys Job cards.
General housekeeping at work area
Implementation of VPO routines
Adherence to PPE policy
Identification of unsafe practices (SIOs)
Safe maintenance practices
Maintenance tools in good working order

 

Minimum Requirements:

Min – Full Craft Certificate in engineering or plant operations
Ideal – Ordinary Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering
Min 3 years in FMCG manufacturing industry
Must be a member of EIZ
Computer Literate
Ability to work in teams.
Team player and good communication skills
