Job Title: Location Supervisor
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Lusaka
Department: Security

Job Requirements:

Deployment of security guards and surveillance equipment; Prepare duty roster;
Act swiftly during shortage of guard/s. Modify the duty roaster considering risk /threat of unit; Ensure that all sites have occurrence books and that guards record the security status or incidents if any when taking over a shift and handing over a shift; Prepare daily incident shift reports and report to Operations Manager
Prepare incident and complaint reports, personnel, vehicle and material movement control documents and guard attendance registers.
Conduct Pre-shift briefings, surprise checks, patrolling, mock-drills and rehearsals as per company policy.
Ensure safe handling of Firearms – Ensure security guards, if provided with the detail observes laid down safety and security norms with regard to handling of firearms.
Provide Leadership and Supervision– Welfare of guards, training and motivation, leading by personal example, impartiality, honest reporting and punctuality.
Arrange training of security officers after noticing the skills gaps.
Keep constant communication with guards and Operations Officer.
Implement safety regulations and procedures to minimize risk of workplace injury or death.
Anticipate security risks/ threats and take corrective action.
Periodically check the operational fitness of the security equipment, communication and alarm systems.
Educate security guards/officers on emergency response action.
Oversee the installation of security alarms around clients’ building premises.
Coordinate and cooperate with Government authorities i.e. police, fire brigade, factory inspectors, labour officers etc.
Assist the police in investigating cases of theft, rule violations, and infractions for the clients’ premise that we protect.
Perform any other special duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Zambians with Green National Registration Cards
Should be between 35 and 50 years old, with 2 years minimum work experience
Minimum Grade 12 School Certificate.
A professional qualification in Security and or any related field is acceptable
Should have no criminal record
Physically and mentally fit
