We are looking for a proactive and professional Credit Recovery Officer to manage and recover outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships.

What You’ll Do:

Monitor and manage assigned accounts to identify overdue payments.

Engage with customers to understand their financial situation and negotiate suitable repayment plans.

Issue reminders and demand notices when necessary.

Ensure proper documentation of all collection activities in our database.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to outstanding debts.

Escalate complex cases when legal intervention is necessary.

Maintain compliance with regulatory and ethical debt collection practices.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in debt collection, credit recovery, or related roles.

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a customer-focused approach.

Knowledge of Zambian financial regulations regarding debt collection.

Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.

Proficiency in MS Office and financial database management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum qualification: High school diploma (higher qualifications are an advantage).
