Fabrication Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the fabrication team to achieve production goals.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Oversee the daily operations of the fabrication department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize fabrication processes and troubleshoot issues.
Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Analyze production data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in bucket, frames & structure repair/ manufacturing.
Must be able to sketch and interpret mechanical drawings
Must be able to come up with the bill of qty for material as well as consumables in liaison with the draughtsman.
Must have a valid coded welder certificate
Must have a valid EIZ license
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Craft certificate in fabrication
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Solid understanding of quality control principles and practices.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
