Job description

Miclex Enterprises Limited is seeking the services of an experienced Accountant to join our team in Chingola. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and financial tasks, including Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, and General Ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and pay invoices, ensure accurate coding and authorization, and maintain accurate records.
Process and reconcile customer payments, ensure accurate coding and allocation, and maintain accurate records.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during audits.
Enter financial data into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, customer statements, and other financial accounts.

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or related professional qualification.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Accounting/Finance role.
Proficient in Accounting software, SAP or other related software.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as ZICA, CMA, or CA
