As we continue to expand, we seek a highly skilled IT Officer to join the IT team and lead our website development, service portal design, payment gateway integration and branding across multiple business units.

JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Officer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support, designing and developing web platforms, creating digital content, and ensuring network security. This multifaceted role includes troubleshooting IT issues, designing websites and service portals, implementing payment gateway systems, and managing graphic design tasks such as content creation, logo design, and letterhead design to meet the company’s branding needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Respond to and resolve user requests in a timely manner. Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and networking devices.
Website & Web Application Design & Development: Design and develop company websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive. Manage website updates, content management systems (CMS), and hosting environments.Collaborate with teams to integrate business requirements into web designs and ensure a smooth user experience.
IT Client Service Portal Design & Development: Design and develop service portals that align with company objectives and enhance the customer experience. Ensure the portals are functional, secure, and easy to navigate for end-users. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into effective designs.
Payment Gateway System Design & Implementation: Design and integrate secure payment gateway systems to facilitate smooth online transactions. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure that payment systems comply with industry standards. Perform regular updates and maintenance on payment systems to ensure security and reliability.
Graphics Design & Content Creation: Design high-quality graphics, banners, infographics, and other digital assets for websites, social media, and marketing campaigns. Create and maintain digital content for the company’s web platforms and internal communications. Develop and design custom logos, marketing collateral, and other creative materials that align with the brand identity.
Company Branding & Marketing Material Designing:Design and maintain the company’s letterheads, business cards, and other corporate stationery. Ensure all company materials align with the brand guidelines and are consistent across various platforms.
Network & System Administration: Manage and maintain servers, networks, and cloud-based systems. Ensure data backups, system updates, and security patches are regularly applied. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect company data. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
IT Policy & Compliance: Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and best practices. Ensure compliance with IT standards and industry regulations. Train staff on IT policies, security practices, and software usage.
Project Support & System Improvement:Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects. Identify and recommend improvements to IT systems and processes. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT support, web design and development, graphic design, and payment gateway systems.
Strong knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, etc.).
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
Experience with network security, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
Knowledge of e-commerce and payment gateway systems (PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA, ITIL, or Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) are an advantage.
