1. Job Title: Assistant Human Resources Officer

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The successful candidate will assist in recruitment, employee relations, record-keeping, and HR administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Maintain employee records and update HR databases with new hire information.
Process payroll, leave applications, and employee benefits.
Support onboarding and training activities for new employees.
Assist in drafting HR documents such as contracts, policies, and disciplinary letters.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
Organize and manage HR-related events, meetings, and performance reviews.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) Management and/or administration.
Knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

2. Job Title: Stores & Data Clerk

Job Description:
We are looking for a Stores & Data Clerk to manage inventory and maintain accurate records of stock movement at our farm. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient stock control, data entry, and reporting to support farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record all incoming farm supplies and equipment.
Maintain an updated inventory database and monitor stock levels.
Issue materials and equipment to farm staff while keeping accurate records.
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Prepare and submit inventory and usage reports to management.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of all items in the store.
Assist in procurement by identifying stock shortages and placing requisitions.
Maintain accurate and timely data entry for all stock transactions.

Requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate (or equivalent); a Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement, or Business Administration is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in stores management, inventory control, or data entry.
Knowledge of farm supplies, feed, fertilizers, and equipment is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

3. Job Title: Electrician

Employment Type: Short Contract

Job Summary:
Tug Argan Farms Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems, including irrigation pumps, motors, and generators.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
Diagnose electrical faults and recommend effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with farm management to ensure efficient power distribution.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies to minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate (with credits in Mathematics and Science preferred).
Craft Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an agricultural or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring regulations, and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
Must be physically fit and able to work in a farm environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements:

Valid Electrical Wireman’s License (will be an added advantage).
Familiarity with solar power systems and backup generators is a plus.
Must be willing to live on or near the farm if required.
