About the Role:

Mayiko Infrastructure Limited is looking for talented and versatile Lady Chefs to join our team. The successful candidates will be assigned to either Lusaka or Mansa to prepare meals, ensuring high-quality and nutritious dishes. They will be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards, managing kitchen supplies, and adapting to different cooking environments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Indian cuisines and local Zambian dishes with expertise
Plan and prepare nutritious and well-balanced meals based on dietary needs
Ensure timely meal preparation and service
Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
Source, manage, and store ingredients properly to minimize waste
Clean and maintain kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment
Adapt to different cooking environments (residence or site)
Be teachable and willing to learn new cooking techniques
Ensure proper portioning and food presentation
Work efficiently under minimal supervision

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional setting
Proficiency in cooking Indian and Zambian dishes
Basic knowledge of nutrition and meal planning
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Strong hygiene and food safety knowledge
Ability to manage kitchen supplies and maintain inventory
Good communication and organizational skills
Willingness to learn and improve skills
Reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently
