SMECH RECRUITMENT – VARIOUS POSITIONS

SMECH Engineering Services Zambia Limited, a company subcontracted by NAVA Energy Zambia Limited – C/O Maamba Energy Limited-Maamba, in the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of a 2×150 MW Thermal Power Plant located in Maamba, Zambia is looking for suitable candidates to recruit in the following positions:

1. Position: BOP Operator X 2

Qualification:

Adv. Craft/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in balance of plant operations in coal fired power plants

2. Position: AC Technician X1

Qualification:

Craft in Refrigeration & AC Technician

Experience:

5-10 Years of experience in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Installations, Repairs and Maintenance

3. Position: Switchgear Operation Technician X4

Qualification:

Adv. Craft/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in operation of HT/LT switchgear in power plants and holds MSD issued High Voltage Switching Certificate

4. Position: Boiler Field Technician X 2

Qualification:

Craft/Adv. Craft/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in operation of CFBC boilers in coal fired power plants

5. Position: Turbine Field Technician X 2

Qualification:

Craft/Adv. Craft/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in operation of steam turbines in coal fired power plants

6. Position: CHP Field Operation Supervisor X 2

Qualification:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in operation of steam turbines in coal fired power plants

Note:
