PLUMBER G7 X 25 (FIXED TERM)

Location: Ndola

Department: Planning & Development

Reporting to: Property Maintenance Superintendent

Overall purpose of the job

To undertake water pipe maintenance in Peri-Urban areas in order to provide consistent safe water and minimize physical water losses

Key responsibilities among others include:

Undertake effectively installation and repair of network and network appurtenances in order to effectively operate the water network.
Undertakes effectively the maintenance and repair of water pipe lines in order to prevent disruption in the provision of consistent, safe water supply and minimize physical water losses.
Undertakes effectively the operation of valves in order to balance pressure and facilitate network maintenance.
Undertakes effectively routine inspection of the network in order to collect information and facilitate decision making.
Undertakes effectively the housekeeping of the worksite after completion of works in order to ensure a clean and safe environment

Qualifications and experience

Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
Craft Certificate in Plumbing and Sheet Metal/ related
2 Years’ Experience
