Job description

Our client, in the energy industry, is seeking a reliable and skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering. This role involves designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of electrical systems.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems.
Experience in the installation of electrical systems from start to finish.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for installations of electrical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Perform detailed electrical calculations and simulations.
Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Troubleshooting, programming and resolving of electrical issues.
Participate in the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Engineering Institution of Zambia license.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering.
