Job description
Job Posting- Accountant
Location: Lusaka West, Zambia
Company Overview:
Our client, an Agricultural seed company, is seeking a seasoned accountant to join their team.
Key Qualifications:
– Diploma or higher (Degree preferred) finance/ accounting
– 4+ years of work experience in accounting.( Experience in a seed company is an added advantage)
Key Competencies:
– Proficient in preparing management accounts and establishing a robust accounting department
– Skilled in preparing financial reports
– Self-starter with strong initiative
– Experienced in debt management
– Knowledgeable in compliance and financial analysis
– Ability to prepare initial financial posts from incomplete records (an added advantage)
– Capable of managing cash flows
– Able to interact with banks on financing issues on behalf of clients
– Competent in setting up an accounting system and conducting debt management.
