The Key Purpose of this role is to ensure optimum utilization of plant through effective asset care, in a safe work environment, to produce quality product at minimum cost which meets customer requirements while complying with legislation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure safety, healthy & environmental legislation compliance
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
Develop employees
Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate
Maintain system integrity and change control
Maintain and calibrate site instrumentation
Ensure application documented standards
Develop and update engineering standards through hub technical
Optimize use of planned maintenance system
Apply formal failure analysis process
Project completion on time and in budget
Manage budgeting process
Control departmental costs

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Min – Bachelors in Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical); Ideal – Additional business qualification
Legal: Registered Engineer
Training: Min – 3-6 months on the job training; Ideal – 6-9 months on the job training
Experience: 2-3 Years leadership in Maintenance, Engineering & Utilities Engineer
Qualified Engineer
Prior FMCG Experience
Knowledge of Modern Asset Care Principles
