Job description

QUALITY CATERING EQUIPMENT LIMITED — TECHNICAL TEAM VACANCIES
Position: Junior Refrigeration Technician | Skilled People Build Stronger Industries

Quality Catering Equipment Limited is seeking to strengthen its technical team and invites applications from motivated, technically minded individuals for the position of Junior Refrigeration Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior technicians with the installation, servicing, and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment, cold rooms, and freezers.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, filter cleaning, coil washing, and basic refrigerant charging under guidance.
  • Learn diagnostic techniques and assist in electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
  • Keep technical tools, testing gauges, and work areas clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Strictly adhere to workshop and on-site safety procedures and use of PPE.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from a recognised technical training institution (such as NORTEC or equivalent).
  • Sound foundational knowledge of refrigeration principles, thermodynamic cycles, and refrigeration systems/components.
  • Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and strong willingness to work under technical supervision.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, physical fitness, and disciplined work ethic.
