About Us
Winco Industries is a Chinese manufacturing company establishing a new factory in Masaiti District, near the Kafulafuta Toll Gate. As we expand our operations in Zambia, we are seeking experienced, qualified professionals to join our team and support the long-term manufacturing operations of the factory.

We are urgently recruiting for the following positions:

Truck Driver – 2 Positions
Instrument Technician – 5 Positions
Machine Operator – 5 Positions
Lab Technician – 8 Positions
Chinese Interpreter – 1 Position
1. Truck Driver (2 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Safely operate company trucks to transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment between the factory, suppliers, and other sites, including cross-border routes where required
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
Plan routes and ensure timely, safe delivery/collection of loads
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, and fuel records
Report mechanical issues or accidents promptly
Requirements:

Valid Class G and D Driving Licence (RTSA-issued)
Valid Passport (mandatory)
Minimum of 4–6 years’ proven truck-driving experience
Clean driving record with no history of major traffic offences
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge; Defensive Driving certificate is an added advantage
2. Instrument Technician (10 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Install, calibrate, test, and maintain plant instrumentation and control/measurement systems (sensors, gauges, meters, transmitters, panels, etc.)
Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot instrumentation faults
Maintain accurate calibration and maintenance records
Support commissioning of new instrumentation equipment
Work closely with electrical and mechanical teams
Requirements:

Diploma/Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Registered/affiliated with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or TEVETA, as applicable
Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
3. Machine Operator (5 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery to ensure safe, efficient output
Carry out routine checks and basic preventive maintenance
Follow SOPs and health & safety regulations; maintain production records
Requirements:

Certificate/Diploma in a relevant technical field, or a recognized trade/craft certificate
TEVETA trade test certification (or affiliation with the relevant recognized trade body)
Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on experience operating industrial/production machinery
4. Lab Technician (8 Positions- preferably Female)
Responsibilities:

Conduct quality control/quality assurance tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and promptly
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
Flag non-conforming results to the Quality/Production team
Maintain proper documentation and sample records
Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in a relevant science field (Chemistry, Applied Sciences, Metallurgy, or related)
Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant laboratory/quality control experience
Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
5. Chinese Interpreter (1 Position)
Responsibilities:

Provide accurate verbal interpretation between Chinese (Mandarin) and English-speaking staff during meetings, training, and daily operations
Translate documents and technical materials between Chinese and English
Facilitate clear communication between Chinese management and local employees
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Requirements:

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) is mandatory
Diploma/Certificate in Translation, Interpretation, or Chinese Language is an added advantage
Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant interpretation/translation experience
General Requirements (All Positions)

Valid NRC/Passport (Passport mandatory for Truck Driver positions)
Willingness to be based on-site at the factory in Masaiti District
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team
