The Council of Mulungushi University is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the position of Lecturer for Chemistry.
Unit / School: School of Natural and Applied Sciences
Location: Kabwe, Central Province, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose:
To teach, conduct research, and carry out academic-related responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) Credits that must include English Language and Mathematics.
- Earned Bachelor’s degree of Science in Chemistry with a Merit or better from a recognised and reputable University.
- Earned Master’s degree of Science in Chemistry with a taught component from a recognised and reputable University.
- Earned PhD degree of Science in Chemistry will be an added advantage.
- Functional computer literacy skills.
- Competence in using e-learning platforms and ICT in teaching.
- Proof of research and publications.
- Diploma in Teaching Methodology from a recognized Institution.
- Teaching experience at University level will also be an added advantage.
- Valid membership with a relevant professional body in Zambia.
