We are looking for experienced and skilled Trade Foremen to join our construction and projects team.

• Painting Foreman
• Carpentry Foreman
• Plumbing Foreman
• Tiling Foreman
• Electrical Foreman
• Building / General Construction Foreman

Department: Construction / Projects

Reports To: Project Manager / Site Manager

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Employment Type: Full-Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate artisans, skilled workers, and labourers within the assigned trade.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor work progress.
• Ensure work is completed according to required quality standards, drawings, specifications, and timelines.
• Monitor the proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and report defects, delays, material requirements, and technical issues.
• Ensure workers follow health and safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.
• Monitor workmanship and minimise material wastage and rework.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, and professionalism on site.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Grade 9 School Certificate.
• Proven practical experience in the relevant trade.
• Previous experience supervising artisans, workers, or construction teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings and measurements is an advantage.
• Trade Certificate or relevant technical qualification is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in residential, commercial, or large-scale construction projects is an added advantage.
