Position: Afrikaans Specialist Educator (Grades 4–7)
Start Date: 11 January 2027
Closing Date: 04 October 2026 at 12:00
Hillcrest Primary School invites applications from passionate, dedicated, and suitably qualified educators for the position of Afrikaans Specialist Educator (Grades 4–7). We are seeking an enthusiastic professional committed to learner achievement, academic excellence, and making a positive contribution to our school community.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ proven teaching experience as an Afrikaans Specialist in Grades 4–7.
- SACE registered (valid registration required).
- Relevant Intermediate Phase qualification.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate – No criminal record.
- Not listed on the National Register for Sex Offenders (certificate required).
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- CAPS compliant.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Willingness to perform extra-mural duties.
