Job description
Hematon Agro Services is looking for a passionate and experienced Field Officer to join our team and work directly with farmers, with a particular focus on chili production.
Employment Location: Northwestern Province – Kalumbila, Zambia
The successful candidate will be based in Kalumbila and will be required to travel extensively to farmer communities within the assigned areas.
We Are Looking For:
- Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience working with large numbers of smallholder farmers.
- Practical experience growing chili.
- AIZ Certificate.
- Valid Motorbike Licence.
- Fluent in Bemba, Lunda, and Kaonde.
- Good computer and reporting skills.
- Strong farmer mobilisation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in rural areas.
