1.     Store in- charge

 2 to 3 years of experience Skills and knowledge

 • The ability to use a computer, navigate the internet, and use common software applications such as Microsoft O ice.

 • Knowledge of machine tools and materials

 • Knowledge of inventory management systems

 • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including scheduling. Duties and responsibilities

 • Issuing materials, consumables and tools according to operator requirements. • maintain day-to-day record for tools and consumables

 • keep stock register both raw materials and machine tools.

• keep record incoming materials and outgoing materials.

• Maintain fuel & maintenance record for forklift as well as genset.

2.     Machinist (Lathe Machine Operator)

 5 to 7 years of experience Skills and knowledge

 • Ability to read engineering drawings and sketches

 • operates the heavy Lathe machines and related machinery.

• Ability to do gears selection for threading & self-speed

 • Knowledge of lathe machine tools & instruments.

 • Have well knowledge in bearing size and finishing systems.

 • Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development. Duties and responsibilities

 • Operate the heavy-duty lathe machine.

• All types of thread cutting metric & imperial.

 • Tool grinding and drill grinding according to the material specification.

 • Follow Forman instruction according to the job card

 • Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.

• To be able to prioritise and work to given timescales.

• To ensure quality standards are met.

 • Keep safe tools and instruments.

 • Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repair.

3.     Mechanical Fitter

 5 to 7 years of experience Skills and knowledge

• Ability to read engineering drawings.

 • operate drilling machines and related machinery.

 • Skills of assembles, installs, maintains and repairs

• Knowledge of standard drilling and taping

• Have an advanced knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.

• Self-driven for progressive and continued learning and development.

 • Experience of using hand and power tools. Duties and responsibilities

• Construction of mechanical systems and equipment to engineering drawings.

 • Fault-finding and diagnostics of mechanical equipment.

 • Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative.

 • To be able to prioritise and work to given timescales.

 • To ensure quality standards are met.

• Requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Relevant Technical/Engineering Certificate – A recognised qualification in the related field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
• EIZ Registration – Must be registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
• Attested Qualifications – All academic and professional documents must be certified or attested by the appropriate authorities.
