Vacant Position: General Assistant – Workshop
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the health and safety rules and protocols as prescribed.
- Cleaning of workshop area, warehouse floors, equipment and keeping area tidy.
- Maintenance: performing routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Record keeping: maintain records of inventory and work performed.
- Communication with supervisors and other team members.
- Reporting: report on any deviation noted.
- Housekeeping: maintain proper housekeeping of the area.
- Able to work shifts and/or overtime.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Grade 12 or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Experience in open cast mining/workshop will be an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s license (Code 10).
- Knowledge of MHSA work regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Pass the medical fitness test.
