Job description
To install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems including CCTV and Access Control across various client sites in Zambia
Key responsibilities
- installations: Install and configure CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs and access control devices systems.
- Cable management: Running and neatly installing various types of cables, such as coaxial and Cat6.
- Device configuration: Learning to use mobile or desktop software to configure new devices.
- Testing and commissioning: Participating in the testing and final commissioning of systems after installation.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting: Learning to perform regular maintenance and diagnose faults on installed systems.
- Reporting: Generating daily job reports and client handover documentation under supervision
Qualifications:
- Minimum Certificate in Electrical Engineering, IT Engineering, Information Technology or computer science (advantage if Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering)
