PEST CONTROL OPERATORS

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine pest control treatments at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Inspect premises for signs of pest activity and identify infestation risks.
• Apply approved treatments such as baiting, spraying, gelling, dusting, and trapping.
• Install, service, and maintain bait stations, glue boards, and monitoring devices.
• Use company systems/apps to record treatments, findings, photos, and service reports.
• Respond promptly to customer complaints and emergency call-outs.
• Provide professional recommendations to clients on hygiene, proofing, and prevention measures.
• Ensure all jobs are completed according to company standards and schedules.
• Maintain company equipment, chemicals, PPE, and service materials responsibly.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers on-site.
• Report damaged equipment, safety risks, and operational issues to management.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Certificate/Diploma in Pest Control, Environmental Health, or related field is an advantage.
• Valid Tuk-tuk driver’s license is an added advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
• Honest, disciplined and detail-oriented.
• Experience in pest control will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of pest identification and treatment methods.
• Ability to use mobile reporting systems/apps.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good record keeping and reporting ability.
