Job description
Ø Work closely with line managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities.
Ø Keep up to date with legal developments and advise management on compliance and risk factors.
Ø Prepare HR Manual and Company Code of Conduct to be provided to and signed off on by all new employees
Ø Develop, implement and maintain HR policies.
Ø Monitor, implement and review the system of performance appraisals and continually develop as necessary
Ø Manage external training provision as and when required
Ø Handle conflicts, disciplinary actions, grievance and terminations
Ø Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Professional Certification
· Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Professional Membership: Valid, active membership with the relevant HR professional body (e.g., ZIHRM in Zambia, or equivalent local regulatory authority).
Work Experience
· HR Generalist Background: 3+ years of progressive HR experience
