Chilanga Cement, Ndola Plant, is looking to recruit dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic and qualified individuals to take up the role of;
DRIVER (x3)
Overall Mission of the Role:
Within the framework of the company’s objectives and yearly plans, his mission is to drive pool vehicles on a daily basis as instructed by the supervisor, to run errands, transport people to and from various destination and any other relate jobs that may arise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drives a light vehicle and light truck
- Performs pre-shift checks on vehicle and reports any defects to supervisor
- Ensures that the vehicle is in road worth condition
- Ensures there is water, oil, fuel and lights at all times
- Ensure tax, fitness and insurance discs are valid and visibly displayed on the windscreen
- Account for fuel usage and present a report to the supervisor every month
- Performs any other duties as required by the superior from time to time
Education background & Experience
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Valid Class B Driver’s Licence for manual transmission. A Class CE Driver’s Licence will be an added advantage.
- At least three (3) years’ relevant experience in a busy work environment, with a valid driver’s licence held for a minimum of five (5) years.
Technical Skills
- Able to complete log sheets/books
- Able to communicate in English and normal work group contact
- Ability to read/write gauge measurements

- Hand and foot manipulations to control vehicle
