POS Field Auditor

Job description

Our company is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented POS Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of stock and financial records, monitoring compliance with company procedures, and supporting operational excellence across our Points of Sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine audits of stock, assets and inventory at POS locations.
• Perform financial reconciliations, including invoices, cash, petty cash, bank deposits and stock movements.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare audit reports, investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct field visits to customers, agents and branches to verify transactions and operational processes.
• Monitor POS systems and report any system or equipment issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in auditing, internal controls, operations auditing, or a similar role.
• Experience working with Point of Sale (POS) systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations and inventory controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report writing.
• High level of integrity, analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Zambia.
