Sales Para-Veterinary Officer

Job description

IBAN Agrovet Ltd is looking for a qualified and motivated Sales Para-Veterinary Officer to join the team in Choma.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and professional sales support.
• Advise customers on animal health products and recommend suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure the shop remains fully stocked.
• Manage daily inventory, sales, purchases and expenses.
• Prepare daily and monthly sales reports with recommendations.
• Maintain high merchandising standards and ensure the store is well organised.
• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Support business growth through excellent customer relations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science or a related field.
• Valid Para-Veterinary Practising Licence.
• At least 2 years’ experience in agrovet sales or a similar environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication and organisation skills with high integrity.
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Willingness to work long hours as required.
• Creative and forward-thinking.
