Job description
Reformed Open Community Schools (ROCS), in partnership with RCZ Diaconia Response (RCZ-DR), is implementing the SAFECHILD Project with financial support from the European Union. As part of the project, ROCS invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified individual consultants or consulting firms to undertake the development of standardized advocacy toolkits, position papers, and practical guidelines to support the effective implementation of the Children’s Code Act No. 12 of 2022.
The assignment will involve reviewing existing advocacy materials and relevant legal and policy frameworks, engaging key stakeholders, developing standardized advocacy resources, facilitating a validation workshop, and producing finalized advocacy materials for dissemination. The consultancy is expected to be completed within 30 working days.
Interested consultants or firms should possess demonstrated expertise in child rights programming, legal and policy analysis, advocacy, communications, and the development of knowledge products. Experience working with government institutions, civil society organizations, and development partners on child protection and policy advocacy assignments will be an added advantage.
Interested applicants are invited to submit the following:
- Technical Proposal;
- Financial Proposal;
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the lead consultant and key personnel (where applicable);
- Company or consultant profile;
- At least three samples of similar assignments; and
- Contact details of three professional referees.
