Job description

An established FMCG company based in the Industrial Area, Lusaka is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Van Salesman to join its team.

Key Responsibilities
– Drive the company sales van and sell products to customers along designated routes.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
– Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
– Ensure timely deliveries and accurate order fulfillment.
– Collect payments and account for all sales made.
– Maintain proper stock control and prepare daily sales reports.
– Ensure the sales van is kept clean and roadworthy, and report any mechanical faults promptly.
– Promote company products and identify new business opportunities.
– Follow assigned local routes efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
– Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements
– Must possess a valid Class C Driving Licence.
– Proven experience in van sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
– Good knowledge of local routes within Lusaka and surrounding areas.
– Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
– Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
– Physically fit and able to handle product loading and unloading.
