Divine Connections Recruitment Services is representing a prestigious private primary school in Lusaka that is seeking a visionary and spiritually grounded Head Teacher to lead the institution.

The school is looking for an educational leader who combines academic rigor with strong moral values to foster an environment of excellence for students, staff and parents.

The Role
As Head Teacher, you will serve as the primary leader of the school, responsible for overseeing academic operations, managing professional staff, and maintaining the school’s high standards of Christian character and educational achievement.

Key Responsibilities
– Academic Leadership: Oversee the full spectrum of primary education, ensuring curricula are delivered effectively and meet national standards.
– Assessment Management: Use demonstrable experience to manage examinations, grade assessments, and track student academic performance.
– Team Supervision: Lead, mentor and inspire teaching and administrative staff to ensure a collaborative school culture.
– Operational Excellence: Apply organisational skills to manage daily school activities, resources and stakeholder communication.
– Moral Stewardship: Act as a role model by upholding the school’s Christian values and ensuring a God-fearing environment that shapes students’ character.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
– Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education.
– Diploma in Primary Education and an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or Diploma.

Experience
– Minimum of five (5) years of relevant teaching and administrative experience, with proven success in a leadership role within a primary school setting.

Technical Skills
– Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Added Advantage
– Candidates with qualifications from the University of Zambia (UNZA) or Kwame Nkrumah University are highly encouraged to apply.

Personal Profile
– A practising Christian with strong moral values and a God-fearing character.
