Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) operates a prestigious network of Trust Schools in Zambia that provide high-quality primary and secondary education. These schools, originally established during the ZCCM era, are known for their academic excellence and holistic development program. In view of the same, we are inviting applications from qualified, passionate, and dedicated teachers to fill the following positions:

SUBJECT TEACHER – BUSINESS STUDIES

To teach Business Studies, Principles of Accounts and Commerce, and develop the learners’ theoretical and applied numeracy skills while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in them.

Candidate Profile

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma/Degree in Business Studies.
• Minimum of 3 years Teaching at a Secondary School.
• Effectively teach Form 1 to Grade 12.
• Interpret the Competence-Based Syllabus correctly and prepare related schemes of work based on it.
• Computer literate and creative and innovative mind.
• Valid Teaching Council of Zambia practising licence.

PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER

Effectively teach Reception to Grade 7 and Strategically plan, teach and achieve 100% pass rates in internal and external assessments. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, child development and committed to academic excellence.

Candidate Profile

• Grade 12 Certificate or Equivalent.
• Degree holder in Primary education.
• Valid Teaching Council of Zambia practising licence.
• Primary school teacher. Qualification in Early Childhood Education is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a primary school setting.
• Good command of English, Computer literacy and ability to use CBC/ Competence Based Teaching methods.
