INTERNSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

Job Title: Intern x 3 (Lusaka)

Reports to: Senior Manager Economic Regulation – Fossil Fuels (Lusaka)

Background

The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) is a statutory body established under the Energy Regulation Act, No. 12 of 2019, to regulate the energy sector by licensing undertakings and ensuring consumers receive quality products and services while ensuring a reasonable rate of return to the energy utilities. The ERB now seeks to recruit three (3) dynamic and suitably qualified people to fill the positions of Uniform Petroleum Price (UPP) Intern at the Lusaka Office.

Job Purpose

To provide operational support to the Uniform Petroleum Price (UPP) function.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist with preparation of field schedules.
  2. Conduct physical visits and collect petroleum delivery information from assigned retail sites across the country.
  3. Capture collected delivery information in JotForm and other designated systems.
  4. Obtain copies or images of delivery notes, invoices, goods received notes and other supporting documents.
  5. Upload delivery notes and supporting documents to Google drive.
  6. Support the reconciliation of delivery data with information submitted by Oil Marketing Companies.
  7. Prepare daily progress reports indicating the number of sites assigned, visited, completed and outstanding.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of a degree in Statistic, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Demography, Computer Science, or related Social Science.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage.
  • Applicants must have graduated not earlier than 1st January 2023.
