Sales and Marketing Intern

Position Details

Position: Sales and Marketing Intern

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales activities and customer engagement initiatives.
• Assist in identifying and engaging potential customers, including farmers, agro-dealers, distributors, and agribusinesses.
• Follow up on customer inquiries, orders, and product deliveries.
• Develop marketing strategies and creative promotional content.
• Support product launches, farmer training programs, and demonstrations.
• Manage social media platforms and assist in campaign development.
• Participate in field visits and customer meetings.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager on various projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Recent graduate with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a business-related program.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Basic understanding of agricultural products, farming practices, and agribusiness operations.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to travel within and outside Lusaka.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
