ACCA P4 Tutor (Financial Management)

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality tuition for the ACCA Financial Management (formerly P4) paper.
• Prepare and deliver lessons that simplify complex concepts and promote student understanding.
• Develop lesson plans, study materials, revision resources, and practice questions.
• Assess students’ progress through assignments, quizzes, and mock examinations.
• Provide academic support, guidance, and constructive feedback to help students achieve examination success.
• Stay up to date with ACCA syllabus changes, examination techniques, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate attendance and student performance records.
• Foster a positive, professional, and motivating learning environment.

Requirements:

• ACCA Affiliate or Member qualification (or equivalent professional accounting qualification). Candidates with strong expertise in Financial Management will be given preference.
• Previous experience teaching ACCA or other professional accounting qualifications is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ACCA Financial Management concepts, examination techniques, and current syllabus requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and finance concepts in a clear and practical manner.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping students succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience achieving high student pass rates.
• Experience with both in-person and online teaching.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an added advantage.
