CALL FOR PROPOSALS — Environmental Clean-Up and Waste Disposal Services

Job description

1. BACKGROUND

Celium Enterprise Limited, located off Kudu Road, Kabulonga, Lusaka, is committed to promoting environmental sustainability and maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy working environment. Due to the presence of an illegal dumping site adjacent to our office premises, the company intends to undertake a community environmental clean-up exercise aimed at restoring the surrounding area. Accordingly, Celium invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit proposals for environmental cleaning and waste disposal services

2. SCOPE OF WORK

The selected organisation will be expected to carry out, but not limited to, the following:

• Collection and removal of accumulated waste from the identified dumping site
• Clearing of overgrown vegetation, weeds, and bush around the dumping site
• Transportation and environmentally compliant disposal of collected waste 
• Provision of all equipment, labour, and tools required for the exercise
• Suggestion of a permeant solution to avoid the area of turning back into a dumpsite 

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Organisations wishing to submit proposals must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Must be a registered company or organisation in Zambia
• Must have demonstrable experience in environmental, community, or grounds cleaning services
• Must be able to provide references or evidence of previous similar work
• Must have the necessary equipment and manpower to carry out the work efficiently

4. WHAT YOUR PROPOSAL SHOULD INCLUDE

Interested organisations are requested to submit a proposal that includes the following:

• Company profile and brief overview of services offered
• Relevant experience and references from previous cleaning or environmental projects
• A detailed work plan outlining how the scope of work will be carried out
• An itemised quotation / cost breakdown for the proposed services
• Proposed timeline for completion of works
• Copies of business registration and any relevant certifications
• Details of the proposed waste disposal methodology and disposal site

5. SITE ASSESSMENT – Mandatory Site Visit

Interested organisations are invited to attend a site assessment to familiarise themselves with the scope of work before preparing their proposals.

Venue: 288A Off Kudu Road, Kabulonga, Lusaka.

Attendance is strongly encouraged to facilitate accurate technical and financial proposals.

6. HOW TO SUBMIT

All proposals must be submitted via email to Deborahm@celiumzm.com with the subject line: “Proposal – Environmental Clean-Up and Waste Disposal Services – Celium Enterprise Limited”.

Submission deadline: 15th July 2026

Late submissions will not be considered.
