  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
  • Train, mentor, and support sales agents and field teams to enhance productivity and sales performance.
  • Monitor merchant activity and transaction volumes, implementing initiatives to drive increased POS utilisation.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Minimum of three (3) to six (6) years’ experience in fintech, banking, payments sales, merchant acquiring, or a related business development role.
  • Strong understanding of merchant acquiring, POS solutions, and the digital payments ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in merchant acquisition, relationship management, and business development.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and business partners.
  • Strong market analysis, planning, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience leading or supervising sales agents or field sales teams.
  • Experience working within a fintech, payment service provider, or financial institution.
  • Knowledge of the Zambian digital payments and merchant acquiring landscape.
