Poultry Supervisor (Layers/Hyliners Section)

Job description

Mulotwa Poultry Farms Limited, a fast growing agribusiness based in Lusaka, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Poultry Supervisor in the layers/hyliners section.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily flock management – Supervise feeding, watering, and general care of birds.

• Production monitoring – Track egg output, quality, and feed conversion ratios.

• Health oversight – Ensure vaccination schedules, biosecurity, and disease prevention protocols are followed.

• Team supervision – Lead and train farm workers to maintain high standards of productivity and welfare.

• Record keeping – Maintain accurate production, health, and inventory records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or certificate in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field backed by Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent O levels 

• Minimum of 3 years poultry experience, preferably in commercial layer management.

• Strong knowledge of biosecurity practices and poultry health management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
