Job Role: Sales Floor Assistant

Responsibilities

To provide efficient, quality customer retention and service.

• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and helping customers find products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Restock shelves, display, and inventory as needed.
• Support sales goals and promotions.
• Work with the team to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Check for and remove expired or damaged items from shelves.
• Select and place goods on shelves, check stock levels, and ensure products are neat and tidy.
• Must be able to replenish stock-outs and ensure proper stock handling.
• Receive and store goods in the required area.
• Prepare, prepack and merchandise stock.
• Must be familiar with FIFO.
• Ensure that the damages and expiry procedures are adequately followed.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food handlers’ certification & food production certification.
• 1–2 years of experience in merchandising products.
• Basic knowledge in sales floor/shelf packer.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
• Candidate should be medically fit.

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stay calm and focused.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Supervisory skills – ability to train employees to use time efficiently and to be uncompromising regarding service delivery.

Physical Exam Required: Medical Report & Police Clearance
