Delta Auto and Equipment Ltd
Job Title: Parts & Aftersales Counter Clerk
Duty Station: Chambishi, Copperbelt, Zambia
Application Deadline: 16th July 2026
Job Purpose
The successful incumbent will be based in Chambishi and will be responsible for developing and nurturing strong customer relationships, ultimately driving the achievement of Parts Sales and Aftersales Service targets.
Key Outputs & Responsibilities
- Customer Quotations: Promptly provide accurate quotes to customers via telephone, email, and walk-in inquiries.
- Backorder Expediting & Reporting: Manage the reordering, cancellation, and tracking of backorders. Liaise closely with Lusaka HQ, Inventory, Product Support, Finance, and Service teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Resource Management: Effectively maintain and utilize various reference materials, catalogues, and tools required for the role.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment in the assigned service area.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Minimum of a Diploma or Certificate in a commercial field (e.g., CIPS, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent).
- High proficiency in MS Office suite, web/internet applications, and Sage 300 ERP.
- Strong product knowledge of Delta Auto & Equipment Ltd brands.
- Prior experience in Counter Sales or Customer Service is highly desirable.
- Technical qualifications or hands-on mechanical/automotive experience will be an added advantage.

- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong level of commitment to operational excellence.
