Job Purpose

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and promoting courier and logistical services to existing clients, businesses and individuals on the Copperbelt and Solwezi. Conduct research and identify potential clients within the logistics and courier services sector. Tailor your services to meet the unique needs of clients after understanding their requirements. Present your comprehensive range of logistics solutions, highlighting your value proposition.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share on the Copperbelt.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics and courier services.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to create and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of your services and address client inquiries.
  • Achieve and surpass individual and team sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
  • Provide regular reports detailing sales activities, progress, and potential leads for management.

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any Commercial related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 4+ years’ experience in sales in courier services, logistics, or FMCG.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Knowledge of the Copperbelt market and customer base is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
