A Call for Quantity Surveyor Interns

What is expected of you

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
  • Support the preparation of tenders and bid documents
  • Assist with procurement documentation and contractor evaluations
  • Conduct basic site measurements and support progress tracking
  • Help evaluate claims and prepare interim payment certificates
  • Attend site meetings and draft reports
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Engineering Department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (completed or Final Year)
  • Completion of at least one industrial attachment or internship during studies
  • Basic understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

ATTENTION: The successful applicant will be trained on the job, but we will expect applicants to have a good standard of education in an appropriate area and previous experience in construction nd quantity surveying, and a background working within an operations/infrastructure industry is essential.
