Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD)

Job description

Westminster Foundation for Democracy is seeking an individual or organisation to represent WFD in Zambia as it explores opportunities to strengthen engagement and support democratic governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify partnership and funding opportunities
  • Engage key stakeholders across Zambia’s governance sector
  • Help shape WFD’s future programme development and presence in Zambia
  • Work closely with WFD’s Africa team

Requirements

  • Significant experience in democracy, governance, parliamentary strengthening, political participation, public policy, or related fields
  • Strong networks across Zambia’s governance sector

Additional Details

  • Contract: August 2026 to March 2027, with possibility of extension
  • Remuneration: £1,100 to £1,600 per month
  • Time commitment: 50 to 80 hours per month
  • Applications close: 17 July 2026
