Job description

The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC), a statutory body established under the Zambia Law Development Commission Act, Chapter 32 of the Laws of Zambia, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambians.

Job Purpose

To provide comprehensive technical support for procurement of goods, services, and works to facilitate institutional operations and material availability across Commission departments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day procurement operations for goods, works, and services in compliance with public procurement regulations and ZLDC guidelines.
• Prepare technical bidding documents, requests for proposals, and formal contract papers.
• Assist in evaluating supplier bids, conduct market research, and draft evaluation reports.
• Monitor supplier performance and track contract fulfilment.
• Maintain and update a register of pre-qualified suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Degree in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.
• Member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
• Two (2) years work experience.
