Lolebezi Safari Lodge, a premier luxury safari destination situated in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician. About the HVAC Technician Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems throughout the lodge. This full-time position demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring optimal system performance and guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities for HVAC Technician Jobs in Lower Zambezi

• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
• Identify potential maintenance risks and perform preventative actions.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems accurately.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, including warranty service tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and respond promptly to emergency repairs.
• Maintain detailed daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Completed Grade 12 certificate.
• Diploma in refrigeration and air-conditioning, electrical engineering, or equivalent; higher qualifications are advantageous.
• At least three years of practical experience as an electrician and refrigeration technician.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Membership in the Engineering Institution of Zambia is required.
