Lolebezi Safari Lodge, an exclusive luxury safari destination situated in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, is currently recruiting for camp general hand jobs in Lower Zambezi. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to a world-class wilderness experience in one of Africa’s most pristine and remote locations, serving both local and international guests.
About the Camp General Hand Position
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Camp General Hand to join our maintenance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance, the successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and upkeep throughout the camp. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a remote environment and is passionate about supporting a luxury safari operation.
Key Responsibilities for Camp General Hand Jobs in Lower Zambezi
- Thoroughly clean all assigned pools as well as main and surrounding areas to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain and water gardens regularly to preserve the natural beauty of the camp grounds.
- Promptly report any damage, breakages, or losses within the lodge to the maintenance supervisor.
- Carry out all daily assigned duties diligently and efficiently.
- Manage the proper disposal of refuse and waste in accordance with camp policies.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a full Grade 12 certificate.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a remote safari location with limited access to urban amenities.
Note: This position is based in a remote safari location with limited connectivity and urban conveniences. Candidates must be comfortable living and working in such conditions for extended periods.
