Divisional Manager Scaffolding Jobs Copperbelt – Lead Our Scaffolding Division
Selected Supplies Zambia invites qualified professionals to apply for the role of Divisional Manager – Scaffolding based in the Copperbelt Province. This is a full-time opportunity to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of our Scaffolding Division, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of scaffolding services. About the Role – Divisional Manager Scaffolding Jobs Copperbelt
As Divisional Manager, you will manage all aspects of the Scaffolding Division, including stock control, financial oversight, compliance, and team leadership. You will be responsible for building the division from the ground up, ensuring the right talent is in place and that operational processes meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational & Stock Management: Oversee scaffolding stock control, including orders, deliveries, collections, stock takes, and housekeeping. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of materials, tools, and equipment. Coordinate logistics for timely site deliveries and collections. Manage quotes, purchase orders, invoicing, debtors, and delivery notes in compliance with company policies.
- Project & Team Leadership: Recruit and develop a skilled workforce to meet project deadlines. Lead scaffolding crews and supervisors in safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures. Provide training, mentorship, and performance management.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce occupational health and safety standards. Conduct inspections and maintain certification records. Ensure adherence to local and international scaffolding regulations.
- Finance Oversight & Profitability: Take ownership of the division’s profit and loss performance. Monitor revenue, costs, and margins. Prepare financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analyses for senior management. Implement cost-control measures and support strategic pricing and contract negotiations.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting: Develop operational plans aligned with company objectives. Monitor resource utilization for efficiency and cost control. Submit regular reports on division performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Authority & Accountability: Approve scaffolding orders, allocate resources, and sign off on operational documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards, financial targets, and operational efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role within steel, mining, equipment rental, agriculture, or related supply sectors.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision making.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with direct P&L management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in scaffolding, construction, or industrial operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
