About the Events Digital Media Internship in Lusaka

As an Events & Digital Media Assistant intern, you will play a key role in planning and managing crochet-related events while enhancing the brand’s digital presence. This part-time, flexible internship is based in the Kalundu Market area of Lusaka, Zambia, offering hands-on experience and the chance to contribute meaningfully to community-driven creative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan crochet classes, workshops, and small-scale events
• Manage event registrations, attendance tracking, and scheduling
• Organize event documentation using Google Drive tools such as Docs, Sheets, and Forms
• Create simple posters and flyers using Canva
• Manage and post engaging content across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Status, and TikTok
• Assist with event promotion and increase online engagement
• Support event setup and coordination on-site

Candidate Requirements

• Basic proficiency with Google Drive applications
• Elementary Canva design skills to create visual content
• Familiarity with social media platforms, including posting, stories, captions, and audience engagement
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Responsible, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
• Residency in Lusaka, preferably near the Kalundu area
