About the Role: General Manager Jobs in Lusaka

As General Manager – Customer Support Engineer, you will oversee technical support operations, ensuring efficient troubleshooting, maintenance, and service delivery for our clients. This full-time role demands a hands-on leader with a strong technical background and the ability to manage hardware, software, and network support functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for printers, multifunctional devices, and PC hardware/software issues.
  • Perform hardware repair and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal device performance.
  • Support server hardware and Windows Server operating systems, including network basics such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Wi-Fi.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all support interactions, repairs, and inventory within the CRM system.
  • Manage inventory related to technical support and repairs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in technical support, field service, or help desk roles.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing printers and multifunctional devices.
  • Strong understanding of server hardware, Windows Server OS, and fundamental networking concepts.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing PC hardware and software issues, including Windows OS and Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Certifications such as Cisco, CompTIA A+, Network+ or manufacturer-specific credentials (e.g., HP, HPE, Dell) are highly advantageous.
