Tauro Mining is currently seeking qualified professionals for electrical engineer jobs in Chililabombwe. Located in the heart of the Copperbelt province, our company offers a dynamic work environment focused on underground mining operations. We invite experienced candidates to apply for the full-time Electrical Engineer position based at KCM, Chililabombwe, Zambia.
About the Electrical Engineer Role in Chililabombwe
The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in supporting Tauro Mining’s underground mining operations. This position requires a professional with a strong technical background and proven leadership ability to maintain and improve electrical systems within a demanding mining environment.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical installations, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize mining processes.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Active membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
- Minimum of five (5) years’ professional experience in underground mining electrical engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
